WORKSHOP: Melon Basket 
Learn to weave a melon basket with vines and plants from the bush or garden.
The workshop will be run in a tranquil setting on the Nurtured Earth Farm at MacMasters Beach. There is a maximum number of seven attendees and your course fee includes a wholesome morning tea and lunch with all certified organic ingredients plus home-made chai and traditionally fermented ginger beer.
You will leave the workshop with a gorgeous original basket, an appreciation for bush offerings, a wee Nurtured Earth gift, a bunch of recipes and quite likely some new friends!
TUTOR: Lindsay Cameron is a fibre artist living on the Coast. Lindsay teaches basketry techniques such as random weaving, twining, rope making and coiling. Lindsay also teaches nuno felting and eco dying (watch this space :)). Read more about Lindsay on her blog HERE.
Janine and Sonia from Nurtured Earth Organics will be busy in the kitchen serving up organic wholesome food. With a passion for all things food… you can expect to be well nourished. You will also take home the recipe of everything you eat plus a little gift.
