2015 has been an amazing year! Nurtured Earth Organics has continued to evolve on it’s ORGANIC JOURNEY.
Some of the highlights include:
- Gifting over 60 boxes of organic goodness to families in our communities who have needed a little extra love
- Completing our Permaculture Design Certificate
- Getting our hands dirty with lots of community gardening projects including;
- Involvement in the Thrive group and starting the Copacabana Food Forest (let us know if you’d like to get involved) this is just one of many projects!
- Mastering the art of Ginger Beer making (you’ll find the recipe on our website!)
- Meeting our growers… slowly but surely, we are finding more and more local suppliers
- Sharing lots of our favourite recipes
- A gathering to share knowledge and make Sauerkraut (stay tuned for a list of workshops coming in 2016!)
Never underestimate how important your custom is to us. We cannot do it without you. We truly believe that by supporting sustainable food growing methods and keeping our food network as local as possible this is the basis to creating a nurturing future for ourselves and our earth.
