Nurtured Earth Organics is run by Sonia Romeyn, Janine Ravenwood and a fabulous bunch of delivery drivers and packing helpers. We are committed to being a community focussed business. It is time to look outside of large supermarket chains that are driven by shareholder profits. Let’s get back to basics and support the people who are doing what they can to produce REAL food that really will sustain us, and our planet, now and in generations to come.
After 10 years of baking baguettes, ryes and wholemeal loaves in France, Nick and Laurence Anthony decided to move to Australia with their two daughters and set up their own sourdough bakery here on the Central Coast (Somersby).
Nearly 15 years later the loaves of La Tartine (Australia’s first certified organic sourdough bakery) are highly sought after across cafés, food stores and markets in Sydney and surrounds.
Organic flour from Gunnedah, filtered tap water and Murray River salt are all that make up a La Tartine loaf this side of the equator.
Wollombi Valley Honey
Toby got his first hive when he was 16yrs and the hives have grown in numbers since then. He’s now 22yr and studying at Uni. Toby and his sister Holly were educated at home so there was time to maintain and catch bee swarms to increase the number of hives. Wollombi Valley Honey is harvested from our family property near Wollombi, surrounded by National Park and State Forest.
There is no farming or pesticides used within the flight path of our bees. The honey comes to you as pure as nature intended. Wollombi Honey provides pure raw unpasturised, uncertified organic honey which is cold extracted. The bees are lovingly nurtured and honey harvested by hand to bring you the best that nature provides.

Jimalie is a locally owned family business. We offer quality coconut products from a region where our family coconut plantations are located in the Philippines. My grandparents planted the seeds for Jimalie over 65 years ago, in Davao – The Fruit Basket of the Philippines. Our business is a lasting legacy to them and our family coconut plantation, and to my father Jim, whose tireless work as a coconut farmer and philanthropist made this all possible.
Diagnosed with autism at a young age, my first-born son was the inspiration for making Jimalie into the business it is today. To assist in managing his condition, we eliminated all chemicals, preservatives and additives from our family’s diet, and soon realised the health benefits of embracing real, whole foods, including the humble coconut.
Gourmet Organic Herbs
Gourmet Organic Herbs supplies a range of certified organic herbs. Grown in optimum conditions by farmers practising sustainable agriculture, they are then dried as whole herbs to capture the volatile oils that deliver intensity of flavour. You can smell and taste the difference. It is more work & more expensive to do it that way – but that’s what being truly gourmet involves.

Looloo’s Coffee Warehouse
From local mum to local legend! After qualifying as a professional midwife and raising four beautiful children in Bensville on the Central Coast, Looloo worked for a few months in a café in Kincumber. When the Landlord refused to renew the café lease Looloo inherited a commercial espresso machine and a few coffee grinders. She asked her husband who had spare space in his warehouse in Cochrane Street Kincumber if she could start serving coffee there.
Combining her inimitable mothering organisational and hospitality skills, with her passion for excellent taste and (eclectic) collectables, Looloo has made the most outstanding success in the most unlikely spot for a café. She has an instinctive eye for hiring intelligent, young, talented local workers and four years and many thousands of espresso shots later, she is fast becoming a central coast coffee legend, with her beautiful warm smile and generous heart.
