Our focus this year will be on ‘conscious’ food. For us this means complete awareness of where our food comes from and what it takes to get it to your pantry.
Although most items we sell are certified organic, we are by no means stuck on ‘certification’. Instead we are very focussed on supplying food that is fairly traded, has minimum impact on our planet and maximum nutritional impact for our bodies. Supporting local growers is a big part of this ethos!
An example we’ve used before: We have the choice of buying certified organic sunflower seeds from China OR we buy conventional sunflower seeds grown in Australia. We choose Australian grown sunflower seeds.
Any food items not certified organic have NCO in their title: This means Not Certified Organic.

Thanks to Toni and Michael of Stewarts Creek Farm. These wonderful growers are located in the lower Hunter Valley tucked between Myall Range and the Watagan National Park.
The garlic is spray free, grown with love AND is absolutely delicious!!
