This drink was inspired by Kerry at Nature’s Connection (thanks Kerry!)… we added cashews for an extra protein blast and to make it thick and creamy… plus a date or two for sweetness.
These measurements are for one… so double or triple as required! Enjoy over ice in the summer, or heat up the milk for a warming winter chocolate drink.
The milk we used is a combination of water with 20% coconut milk and organic brown rice
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup of coconut milk (or your favourite milk)
- 2-3 tspn Cacao
- 1 tspn Maca (start with half until you get used to the flavour)
- 1/2 cup Cashews (ideally soaked for 10+ minutes)
- 1 Medjool Date
Just BLITZ in your blender or processor and you’re done!!

PS. That’s a REUSABLE straw in the picture :)… We would never use throw away plastic straws that are well known for littering our oceans and earth!
